Get Started Founders‘ Breakfast Brussels on Artificial Intelligence

The European startup ecosystem is certainly alive and kicking, and it has expanded continuously in recent years. We’re organizing a startup breakfast on 8 November in Brussels to take a closer look at Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the European scenes of startup policymaking. Our guests at the Get Started Founders’ Breakfast will be Eva Maydell (Member of the European Parliament), Dr. Georg Wittenburg (Founder and CEO, Inspirient), and Maximilian Strotmann (Member of Cabinet of Andrus Ansip).

Discuss major opportunities and challenges for European AI startups

Digitisation is changing industries at a rapid pace. AI, in particular, will have a significant  impact. Plenty of new ideas and innovative products are being developed, which require thorough understanding of digital technologies. Startups are having decisive influence on this transformation, but they face discussions on the future relationship of human and machines. Given the improvements we have recently seen, discussions focus on the interaction between both sides. Discuss with policymakers and startups both challenges and opportunities for AI startups and how the regulatory framework can support innovation.

The panel discussion will be held with:

> Eva Maydell, Member of the European Parliament
> Dr. Georg Wittenburg, Founder and CEO, Inspirient
> Maximilian Strotmann, Member of Cabinet of Andrus Ansip
> Moderator: Benjamin Ledwon, Head of Brussels Office, Bitkom
> Welcome: Niklas Veltkamp, Managing Director, Bitkom

When & Where:

# 8 November, 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. (arrive 8.30 a.m. for breakfast)
# L42, Rue de la Loi 42, 1040 Bruxelles. A light breakfast will be provided.
